Role Overview
With our continuous growth and aspirations, we seek an enthusiastic Business Development & Administrative Student Assistant, preferably from a business school background or a related field. This part-time role (10-20 hours weekly) is an extraordinary opportunity to immerse oneself in a startup ambiance, where initiative and self-direction are paramount.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Market Research: Investigate potential markets, understanding competitor strategies, and customer inclinations.
- Lead Generation: Identify prospective clients or customers and initiate relationships.
- CRM Maintenance: Regularly update and ensure accuracy within the Customer Relationship Management system.
- Data Analysis: Dive deep into databases, analyze deals, and unearth relevant numbers and trends to aid our strategic growth.
Administrative Duties
- Communication: Handle internal and external communications, such as LinkedIn, emails, newsletters, or announcements.
- Documentation: Prepare, organize, and store essential documents ranging from contracts to internal memos.
- Financial Management: Engage with financial service providers and ensure streamlined operational activities.
- General Assistance: Provide broad support to the team, which may include data entry, organizing company events, or other immediate needs.
- Adaptable Roles: Showcasing exemplary skills and initiative might open doors to a spectrum of tasks within our startup, fostering comprehensive growth.
Essential Qualities
- Self-Starter: While guidance will be available, the ability to kickstart tasks and see them through with minimal supervision is indispensable.
- Team Player: A good fit within our tight-knit team is crucial; we believe in collective growth and collaborative success.
- Adaptable: The ever-evolving nature of a startup demands flexibility and the enthusiasm to embrace varied responsibilities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently attending business school or a related field (preferred).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience within life-sciences will be valuable, but not crucial.
