We are searching for a new colleague for a key position to join our team within Operational Excellence. In your new position as Clinical Trial Manager System (CTMS) Manager at NBCD, you will play a key role in the the implementation of our new CTMS system (Veeva)
There will be plenty of opportunities to impact your responsibilities, as we are in a phase of exploring the options within the CTMS and developing new tools and ways to use the system in our current practice.
Your key roles and responsibilities
As a CTMS Manager with NBCD you will assume a key role in ensuring that we use our CTMS to the best extent possible enabling us to keep oversight of our studies. You will be working closely with our Documents System Manager, who shares a similar responsibility for our eTMF. You will keep oversight and ensure proper setup, access and maintenance of trials in the CTMS in collaboration with our trial teams and ensure data loads from relevant systems (EDC and eTMF). Moreover, you will maintain and further develop the processes.
Your key responsibilities:
- Ensure proper implementation, configuration, setup, access management and maintenance of the CTMS to enable good study oversight
- Establish work instructions and best practices for CTMS use and maintenance
- Train and support current and future end users in the use of the CTMS
- Participate in system upgrades incl. validation documentation
- Ensure data loads into CTMS from relevant systems
- Establish reports and dashboards for reporting of progress of clinical trials – ultimately reporting these to Senior Management and Board of Directors

We believe that due to the nature of the role and close collaboration with all study teams, physical presence at our office is a prerequisite for the successful implementation of this role. That said, at NBCD we offer a flexible work life balance, with the possibility to work from home, as agreed with line management.

Desired skills and experience
- You have a pragmatic mindset and are familiar with the operational aspects of clinical trials (you may have worked as a Veeva Valult CTMS administrator, CRA or CTM in the past)
- You are familiar with the requirements of GCP.
- You hold a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in health, natural or information sciences or have another relevant background and experience.
- You have high proficiency in English with strong communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with either maintenance or use of a Clinical Trial Management System (preferably Veeva) is considered a plus.
- Experience in implementing systems or procedures in clinical trials will also be considered a plus
- Proven Project Management skills
