PriAlgae are developing BioNexus, a cutting-edge artificial intelligence solution to drive advancements in bioengineering, data analysis, and sustainable practices. We’re seeking an AI expert passionate about using technology to shape the future of biotech, including projects related to sensor development, machine learning, and bioengineering, particularly with applications to algae and other biological systems.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an AI expert to join our remote team. This role requires a blend of technical programming, data analysis, and sensor development skills, with experience in machine learning systems applied to biotech. You will play a key role in developing and implementing AI-driven solutions, leveraging Python and other tools, to support various biotechnological projects.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement machine learning systems to analyze and interpret biological data.
Design, optimize, and maintain sensors for biotechnological applications.
Apply data analysis techniques to derive actionable insights in bioengineering projects.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to apply AI to biotechnological challenges, within algae-based projects.
Ensure data integrity, perform algorithmic optimizations, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in AI, machine learning, and biotechnology.

Requirements:

Proven experience in AI, machine learning, and data analysis.
Preferably within a biotechnology context, but it is not a requirement.
Proficiency in Python and experience with related programming frameworks and tools.
Knowledge of sensor development for biological applications.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, AI, or a related field.
Familiarity with advanced data visualization tools and bioinformatics databases.
Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
