We are seeking a
Membrane Application Engineer for Reverse Osmosis (RO) to join our Commercial Engineering Reverse Osmosis (CERO) department. You will play an important role in performance testing and understanding the technical value propositions of our innovative biomimetic Aquaporin Inside® RO products and prototypes. Supporting our customers and our sales team with your technical expertise will be instrumental as we strive to become a world leader in energy-efficient membrane filtration solutions.
Our CERO team is dedicated to driving the growth and innovation of our Aquaporin Inside® RO products. We oversee production scaling, product development, and technical support for our Aquaporin Inside® RO flat sheets, elements, and Point-of-Use purification systems. To achieve this, we collaborate closely with contract manufacturers worldwide and internal teams, including R&D, product management, branding & marketing, sales, and more.
Your responsibilities and tasks will include:
- Product Development: Designing RO flat sheet, element, and PoU system performance and stress tests to define operating ranges, applications, and limitations. Coordinating timely and safe execution of product testing using internal and external resources. Validating product compliance against local performance and material standards, e.g., NSF 58 (USA), Indian BIS standards, Chinese MOH standards, etc.
- Technical Expertise: Analyzing and communicating test results, recommendations, and risks. Creating technical documentation for internal and external use and training (datasheets, manuals, tutorials, presentations).
- Customer Support: Delivering technical expertise to customers and internal stakeholders. Actively participating in customer meetings and site visits to ensure technical alignment and address customer needs.
- Commercial Support: Supporting the preparation of commercial and technical proposals that highlight the value proposition of our Aquaporin Inside® RO products.
- Foster collaboration: Working closely together with colleagues across departments and contract manufacturers to ensure efficient production and delivery of our products.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree (M.Sc.): Environmental (Water) Engineering and/or Process Engineering or a closely related field.
- Proven experience: Hands-on industry experience in membrane separation, characterization, and application in water treatment processes is essential. Preferably +3 years.
- Collaborative & Agile: You thrive in a dynamic environment, collaborating effectively across all levels and skillfully managing multiple priorities.
- Independent & Proactive: You demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle projects independently and drive them towards completion.
- Excellent Communication skills: Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
