Your key roles and responsibilities
As a Senior Clinical Trial Manager (sCTM) with NBCD, your key responsibilities will be:
- Driving the planning, implementation, management and close out of clinical trials
- Management and executing operations activities including study and site start up, site management and site closure
- Mentoring and providing guidance to the Clinical Trial Management and monitoring teams internally and externally at NBCD
- Communicate with clients on projects, contracts and budgets
- Ensuring the clinical trials are adhering to the regulations and guidelines
- Ensuring that timelines, deliverables, and data quality for the assigned clinical trials are met
- Ensure protocol specific training and guidance to clinical research associates, NBCD staff and site staff
- Creation, update, and communication/training of clinical trial documents
- Approval of clinical trial documents, such as Risk Assessment Log, Monitoring Plan, KRI Specification, etc.
- Finding solutions to potential issues with the operations and clinical trial teams
- Oversee centralized monitoring activities of a trial, such as Key Risk Indicator data review to ensure good data quality and the safety of the trial subjects by proactively identifying potential issues
- Ensuring overall compliance with centralized monitoring within given timelines in active clinical trials.
- Reporting line: Associate Director, Clinical Operations (Trial Management)

Desired skills and experience
- You most likely hold a master’s degree within health sciences.
- You have +5 years of experience with the requirements of GCP – preferably in a CRO environment.
- You have a pragmatic mindset with good understanding of clinical trials.
- You have high proficiency in English with strong communication skills.
- International experience is a plus, as we operate internationally (e.g. with own offices in the US)
- Some management experience is certainly an advantage, as it is the expectation that the organization will continue to grow and future vacancies for Associate Director positions may well become available for a candidate with the right set of skills, experience, motivation and interest.
