You bring a strong scientific interest to the table, preferably in the fields of oncology and cardiovascular diseases, combined with hands-on experience with histology and cellular assays..

Your tasks:
- Plan and execute external and internal research activities within oncology and cardiovascular diseases
- Plan, conduct and analyze histological and cellular experiments
- Take part in routine tasks in the laboratory (e.g. tissue processing and culture cells)
- Write study protocols, analyze data, and report study results
- Participate in the development and setup of new protocols in collaboration with senior scientists
- Communicate with stakeholders both internal and external
- Be an active part in our Department for Molecular and Cellular Biology
Required qualifications:
You have the ability to plan, execute, and report on both internal and external projects in collaboration with a scientist, taking responsibility for driving key project activities to completion. You bring a strong foundation in the following areas:
- Master’s degree within natural or life sciences
- Have hands-on experience with histology/immunohistochemistry, mammalian cell culture and cellular assays
- Ability to plan, execute and report internal and external projects in collaboration with a scientist
- Take responsibility for driving key project activities to completion
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
- Previous work experience with radioactivity and/or molecular imaging techniques is an advantage, but not a requirement.
