Dawn Health is a leading Digital Health product company that empowers Life Science companies to create elegantly designed digital solutions that empower patients with chronic diseases to live better lives. We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team in Copenhagen.
The Opportunity:
As a Finance Assistant in Dawn Health, you will be part of a finance team of 4, reporting directly to the CFO and/or Finance Controller. The finance team is managed by the CFO, who is also responsible for the HR and recruitment function. You will be responsible for ensuring that the daily financial tasks are executed and supporting the organization as part of the back-office. As Dawn Health works with large global clients on long-term contracts and the majority of the company costs are our own staff, the volume of transactions of the Finance department are relatively low.
About You:
As a person you are independent and structured in your work. You are friendly and supportive towards your colleagues, as you will have a central role in the information flow of the company. You are a team player, and always willing to give a helping hand to your colleagues. You enjoy a combination of routine and ad-hoc tasks. Further you:
- Have 2+ years of experience in the same or a similar position
- Have an administrative finance education
- As a minimum have basic skills in Excel and other Office products
- Professional communication in Danish and English
Your Responsibilities:
Your role in the team will be to handle the operational tasks of the Finance department. Your tasks will include:
- Day-to-day bookkeeping
- Follow-up on time registrations
- Payment of invoices
- Assisting in billing clients
- Month-end reconciliations
- Other ad-hoc finance tasks
