We are looking for a scientist with a strong background in Immunology who is interested in joining our Commercial Operations team. Your primary focus will be on supporting our customers through scientific consultation and troubleshooting but you will also work closely with colleagues in marketing to prepare application notes and other scientific content.

About the job
As Technical Application Scientist, your primary role will be supporting our customers in designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting their experiments. To be successful in this role, you must have strong technical knowledge within immunology and ideally also in single-cell genomics with credibility to effectively consult on solutions, products, and technologies with key opinion leaders primarily across Europe, Asia and Australia. You will have the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in the application of immune monitoring technologies while supporting our growing customer base worldwide.
In your secondary role you will work closely with the Marketing and R&D teams to write and edit scientific content such as technical application notes, protocols, scientific blog posts etc. You will be able to use your technical knowledge to take new data from R&D and give presentations and webinars to customers based on this data. In short, you will foster a close collaboration with our Marketing team (including Global Product Managers), R&D scientists and the EU-based sales and application team.
Location: The position is based in Virum, Denmark.
Responsibilities will include:
§ Joining virtual/in-person meetings with customers to establish optimal solutions for their technical challenges and applications of Immudex products in close collaboration with the EU Sales Team
§ Conducting technical presentations for customers and key opinion leaders during workshops/seminars/webinars to present the Immudex product portfolio
§ Assist with training of the sales team as well as our distributors
§ Supporting the sales team in prospecting and preparing quotes
§ Participate in international conferences including booth set up/break down and discussions with customers
§ Work together with and occasionally support our US-based Technical Application Support and Sales Team
§ Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues collaborating with R&D scientists
§ Support customers with data analysis and interpretation of their results
§ Contribute to generating new customer-oriented scientific content for the website e.g. application notes, blog posts, protocols, webinars etc.
You will become a technical and scientific expert in cellular immune monitoring platforms including single-cell technologies and strive to maintain an understanding of current immune monitoring and competitive technologies and their relevance to immune-oncology, immunotherapy vaccines, and other immune related diseases.
Qualifications
§ The ideal candidate will have a PhD degree in Immunology with a strong knowledge of flow cytometry and flow data analysis (e.g. using FlowJo)
§ Alternatively, a PhD degree in Biology/Biomedicine with 1-2 years of experience working in a commercial organization (Biotech/Pharma/CRO)
§ Experience in sequencing data analysis and single cell technology (e.g. 10x Genomics or BD Rhapsody) is a plus
§ Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
§ Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including the ability to give outstanding presentations. Other language skills are an advantage but not a requirement
§ Problem-solving attitude and motivation to provide solutions based on customer needs
§ Authentic and enthusiastic with a genuine interest in customer satisfaction
§ Self-motivated and capable of working independently and in a time-efficient manner
§ Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
§ Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce-CRM is a plus
§ Ability to travel internationally for up to 20 days a year including overnight travel.
