Upstream Marketing & Product Manager
Pharmacy Automation
Competitive salary + benefits
Shape the future of pharmacy automation while building deep product leadership experience. You’ll own the strategy and roadmap for a high-growth robotics portfolio used in hospitals and retail pharmacies across the globe, giving you exposure to international markets and healthcare innovation.
You’ll work at the intersection of hardware, software and user experience, partnering with R&D, commercial teams and customers to translate real-world pharmacy workflows into products that improve safety and efficiency. Your decisions will directly influence product-market fit and commercial success across multiple regions.
You’ll also take ownership of the full product lifecycle—from early concept and market shaping through to launch execution and post-launch growth—building the kind of strategic product experience that’s valued across medtech, robotics and healthcare IT.
What you’ll do
You’ll define multi-year product strategy backed by market sizing, segmentation and prioritised use cases, working directly with pharmacists, technicians and operations leaders to understand unmet needs. You’ll translate those insights into roadmaps with clear business cases and evidence-backed value propositions.
Leading next-generation product development, you’ll coordinate cross-functional teams across R&D, Quality, Manufacturing and Regional Marketing to bring new automation solutions to market. You’ll ensure requirements, validation, regulatory compliance and go-to-market plans are all aligned.
You’ll architect global expansion strategies, working with regional teams to sequence market entry, adapt value propositions for local healthcare systems, and identify partnership opportunities. You’ll also monitor competitors and adjacencies to anticipate moves and shape response plans.
Managing the portfolio through its lifecycle, you’ll drive sustaining enhancements, cost programmes and end-of-life decisions while identifying growth levers like workflow integrations, software add-ons and cross-sell opportunities with adjacent solutions.
What you’ll need
- 6-7+ years of product management experience in automation, robotics, medtech or healthcare IT, with ownership of roadmap, launch and lifecycle outcomes
- Having lead cross-functional programmes that combine hardware and software to solve operational workflow problems.
- Strong commercial skills including market sizing, business case development, pricing strategy and post-launch growth planning
- Experience with customer discovery and voice-of-customer methods, comfortable engaging clinical, IT and operations stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Pharmacy or related field; MBA or Master’s would be meriting but not required.
- Ability to travel approximately 20–30% for customer discovery, pilots and launches across priority markets
- Fluency in English required with German a big advantage.
