Are you passionate about digital marketing? We are looking for a student assistant to help strengthen the online presence of The Brain Prize – the world’s largest brain research prize – at one of Denmark’s leading commercial foundations.
The Lundbeck Foundation’s Grants & Prizes department is looking for a structured, curious and detail-oriented student assistant with a flair for marketing, social media and SEO.
About the role
As a student assistant at the Lundbeck Foundation, you will be part of the small, dedicated Brain Prize team, which works closely together in a supportive and dynamic environment within the Grants & Prizes department. The Brain Prize is the world’s largest prize for brain research that is awarded each year by the Lundbeck Foundation. It is an international award that recognises and celebrates highly original and groundbreaking advances in any area of brain research, from basic neuroscience to applied clinical research.
You will contribute to the day-to-day work on website optimisation and digital communication for brainprize.org. Your primary tasks will include assisting with social media, on-page website optimisation, and digital campaigns, as well as supporting the team’s other activities. In your daily work, you will collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist, who will be your main point of reference and support.
The position is for 15 hours per week and offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in digital marketing and SEO – as well as to be part of a great team!
Your tasks
- Contribute to the planning, production, and publishing of content for The Brain Prize social media channels (primarily X, Bluesky, and LinkedIn).
- Manage and optimise The Brain Prize YouTube and Vimeo channels.
- Proofread and upload content to the website.
- Conduct on-page website optimisation and keyword research.
- Assist in the development and execution of digital campaigns.
- Support the team with ad hoc tasks.
About you
- You are enrolled in a higher education programme within digital marketing, e-communication, digital media, digital design, or a related field.
- You have a good understanding of digital marketing, SEO and social media.
- You are a strong team player – helpful, proactive, and self driven.
- You are detail-oriented, work in a structured manner.
- You are curious and eager to learn new things.
You have general experience with
- Social media (X, Bluesky, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
- Analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, Matomo)
- Paid media campaigns (Google Ads, X, and LinkedIn Ads)
It would be an advantage if you also had experience with
- Content management systems (CMS) – preferably Drupal 11
- Canva or other graphic design tools
