Your new position
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our Supply Chain & Sourcing team. This pivotal role is crucial to enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring deliveries across the supply chain on time. As Supply Chain Manager your main focus will be to oversee planning and execution at our Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), maintaining a seamless flow of goods and services, and ensuring the alignment of supply chain activities with our company goals.
We offer exciting responsibilities:
- Drive demand and supply planning at designated Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs)
- Manage and mirror transactions at our CMOs and ensure inventory accuracy within our ERP system
- Track and analyze key supply chain metrics
- Identify potential risks and develop robust mitigation strategies
- Engage actively in designated CMC teams representing supply chain activities
- Develop and optimize processes, including authoring relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Your profile
The ideal candidate is dynamic and experienced, with the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships across all levels of the organization. Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential. The role calls for proactive problem-solving abilities and creative thinking, combined with strong analytical capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management within a biotech or pharmaceutical setting
- Proficiency in supply chain software such as Dynamics 365 and Kinaxis
- Advantage: good knowledge about configuration of supply chain modules in Dynamics 365
- Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Preferable: good knowledge of international shipping and custom clearance processes
Your new team
You will join the Supply Chain & Sourcing team, where securing reliable supply for all development projects is essential to our success. The team works cross‑functionally with PMs and SMEs across search and selection, contract negotiations, forecasting and production planning at external CMOs, purchasing focusing on commercial and clinical trial supply to ensure timely deliveries and strong operational execution aligned with Zealand Pharma’s strategic goals - always with an eye on risk's and mitigating scenarios
