Your new position
Currently, we are looking for an experienced IT Service Desk Analyst to cover for our colleague who are leaving for paternity leave. In this role, you will be serving as a key contact for IT assistance and collaborating closely with our global IT team to ensure a seamless IT experience for everyone.
You will provide primarily on-site support for technical issues related to computers, phones, and other tech equipment. You will take ownership of technical problems by asking the right questions, understanding the needs of your users, and efficiently resolving issues to their satisfaction.
The role will be from December 1, 2025 (or when possible) to June 30, 2026.
We offer exciting responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot everything from laptops, printers, mobile devices, software to networking and more with timely, thorough problem-solving.
- Manage PC inventory and set up workstations for new hires, including assembling, imaging, and deploying computers and other necessary equipment.
- Keep our documentation and guides clear, organized, and up to date.
- Coordinate upgrades or repairs and escalate issues to other IT staff when necessary.
- Escalate tickets to Tier II/III teams and third-party service providers when needed.
- Provide basic advice and assist with user training and onboarding/offboarding.
Your profile
As a person you are able to take initiative and work independently and have strong organizational and time management skills. You have a genuine curiosity about technology and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal - able to make complex technical ideas easy for anyone to understand.
- Constantly strive to improve our working processes and procedures.
- Experience working in a mainly cloud-based environment.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft products, including Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, Microsoft Office, and Windows 10/11.
- Experience in pharma/biotech, especially with growing companies would be useful.
- Experience with mobile devices (Apple, Android, iPads) and Intune MAM/MDM is a plus.
