About Hemab
At Hemab Therapeutics, we’re redefining how bleeding and thrombotic disorders are understood and treated.
Our vision: to become the ultimate clotting company through patient-centric innovation and advocacy-driven engagement.
With headquarters in Boston and Copenhagen, we operate in an agile, high-impact environment. Our culture rewards curiosity, mechanistic reasoning, and translational impact.
We are a clinical-stage biotechnology company advancing a pipeline of innovative therapeutics designed to restore hemostatic balance in underserved patient populations.
As we advance sutacimig toward Phase 3 for Glanzmann Thrombasthenia (GT) and move HMB-002 (VWD) and HMB-003 through early clinical development, we are building a world-class MSL team to establish Hemab as the scientific and advocacy leader in coagulopathies.
This is a unique opportunity to shape medical strategy from the field and transform how science and advocacy converge in multiple therapeutic areas.
The Opportunity
The MSL connects Hemab’s scientific team with clinicians, researchers, and patient advocates across the bleeding disorder community. This role shapes how Hemab is perceived scientifically at hematology centers of excellence and specialized care networks treating GT, VWD, Factor VII deficiency, and related coagulopathies.
You will establish scientific credibility where mechanistic differentiation and clinical rigor determine competitive positioning. Your territory spans key COEs, comprehensive care centers, pediatric hematology-oncology sites, gynecology practices managing menorrhagia, and emerging centers serving concentrated patient populations.
This is a field-to-strategy role: you'll inform pipeline decisions, endpoint selection, and KOL engagement architecture while serving as Hemab's scientific voice across the bleeding-disorder ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities
Scientific Exchange & KOL Engagement:
- Build authentic, peer-level relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), investigators, patient care teams, and scientific experts to exchange unbiased, data-driven insights.
- Gather, synthesize, and communicate field intelligence that shapes study design, endpoints, and evidence generation plans.
- Partner with Development and Medical Affairs teams on study site identification, feasibility, recruitment support, and investigator engagement.
- Translate complex data into clear, credible narratives that resonate with clinicians, scientists, and advocacy partners
- Partner with patient organizations and professional societies to elevate disease awareness and Hemab’s scientific reputation.
- All communication is expected to be scientific, balanced, and insight-driven — rooted in integrity and guided by our mission to serve patients first.
