The purpose of the P&O Head, (People and Organization) Nordics role is to:
- Enable business performance by driving & executing people & organizational plans for all business units at a country level, ensure compliance and support with external representation
- Lead the local translation of the Global P&O & Business strategy and ensure Business Unit P&O strategy operationalization
- Drive cross unit collaboration and alignment (incl. Global / Regional / Local)
- Enables business transformation in-country and promotes adoption of enterprise-wide programs
- Direct P&O Responsibilities of the Commercial. Operations Organization and Business Strategy
- Enable a consistent employee experience
- Enable cross-unit career development for P&O talents
Your Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Strategy Operationalization
- Lead the translation of the global P&O strategy and business plan into a harmonized local P&O agenda and talent plan, ensuring coordination between different business units and local teams, including close collaboration with country and P&O leadership
- Direct overseeing of Commercial Operations business as P&O Leader
- Collaborate with Country Head and Country Leadership Team in driving business transformation initiatives, ensuring business continuity and cross-unit collaboration and enabling One Sandoz culture
- Drive Company culture within country and fosters One Team mindset for full P&O organization within country
- P&O Leadership
- Lead and coordinate local implementation of global P&O strategic initiatives and enterprise projects
- Govern P&O resources sharing for business unit support or country wide initiatives
- Manage, develop & govern local P&O team and budget
- Close collaboration with the Northern Cluster P&O LT
- Employee Experience
- Coordinate local P&O agenda between different units where needed; provide functional guidance to local P&O issues across units
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality experience (incl. local benefits) throughout the employee lifecycle while ensuring adherence to processes
- Ensure consistent practices at country level across units and oversees partnership with workers councils and unions to enable business performance, as well as compliance with local ER framework
- Branding, Reputation & Compliance
- Act as a local employer brand ambassador and align and support country Sandoz Employer branding and EVP
- Support Country Leadership Team and Country Head with company reputation and external relations
- Ensure adherence & compliance to all local legislation and regulations as well as Sandoz regulations and Policies
Essential Requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Extensive expertise in People & Organization (P&O) business partnering, with a proven track record of driving strategic HR initiatives and partnering effectively with senior leadership.
- Strong understanding of Nordic labour laws, particularly in Denmark, Finland, and Sweden
- Demonstrates ability to navigate complex organizational environments
- Leads teams both directly and through influence
- Effectively manages and advises senior stakeholders
- Embodies company values and promotes a unified "One Sandoz" and "One P&O" mindset
- Skilled in organizational design and change management
- Proven expertise in Talent Management & Development (TMD), including designing and implementing strategic talent initiatives, succession planning, leadership development, and performance management across diverse organizational contexts.
- Builds capabilities through leadership development and coaching
- Strong influencing and collaboration skills across functions
- Sensitive to cross-cultural dynamics and diversity
- Proficient in conflict resolution and employee relations management
- Academic thinking and working level
- Language: English is a must, Danish or Swedish a plus
