If so, we might have the perfect job opportunity for you. BioInnovation Institute Foundation (BII) is looking for a Head of our newly established Program Management team.
In the Program Management team, the focus is on grant management, management of BII’s programs, hereunder activities for start-ups, as well as portfolio reviews and reporting and educational activities across BII. As Head of the Program Management team, you will be responsible for developing, innovating, and implementing activities regarding grant processes, program activities, portfolio reviews internally, to the board and educational material that BII offers our start-ups.

You will have an important role in providing high-quality programs and education that can nurture world class start-ups and their CEOs. You will play a vital role in developing a strong process structure in the Program Management team, in close collaboration with all relevant teams across BII.
You will be responsible for and part of the Program Management team within the Operations Department which also consists of our Finance Team, Legal Team, and Communication Team. You will be a part of setting the course for consolidation of the Program Management team, and implementation of activities regarding grant management, program, portfolio review and education.

The tasks will include the following:
- Management of the Program Management team consisting of a Grant Funding Manager, an Entrepreneurship & Educations Specialist and a Program Manager.
- Ensure the framework and managing daily operation and support, as well as sparring with the team members.
- Responsible for and contribute proactively to the development of new initiatives regarding BII programs.
- Ensure the programs deliver significant value for start-ups enrolled.
- Heading activities and projects to prioritize and optimize grant management, programs activities and educational material and processes.
- Create and maintain strong relations across all teams in BII. Make sure that all activities in the Program Management team are performed in close dialogue with all relevant stakeholders and teams in BII and the start-ups.
- Be hands-on and not afraid to apply yourself to all aspects of the programs and processes.
- Be a central sparring partner and with reference to the COO.
Professional and Personal Qualifications
We are looking for a Head of our Program Management team who is ready to join a dynamic environment and have solid experience regarding process and project management. Maybe you come from a former position as director/head of in venture capital, startup, program director in a foundation, or as a director/head of department in a government office.
Furthermore, we expect that you have:
- A master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Managerial experience of 5+ years within the domain project and secretariat management. Further experience with startup in the field of grant management, program management, and reporting is preferable.
- Experience with creating frameworks and processes, which include and engage cooperation across an organization and in between start-ups.
- Solid abilities to interact with various stakeholders at all levels, customers and strong communicative skills.
- Solid experience in maneuvering a complex organization and doing so with a positive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in Danish and English.
- Understanding of the life science industry, business and ecosystem is a plus.
