You will be part of the very experienced Technical Development & Manufacturing organization who is responsible for late-stage CMC and Device development activities, manufacturing, and supply for both clinical and commercial products. You will report directly to the Senior Vice President for the area.
In this role you will lead CMC and Device development activities in one or two late-stage or life cycle phase projects. The teams will be responsible for activities on Drug Substance, Drug Product, and Device. You will ensure progress on development activities in the team and create a fun, engaging and empowered working environment.
Job Profile
Responsibilities include:
- Project management of one or two CMC & Device development teams comprising specialists from Drug Substance, Drug Product, Device development, Clinical Supplies, QA, RA, and Supply Chain
- Ensure project planning and strategy development in the teams while also focusing on technical discussions and problem solving
- Deliver CMC & Device projects on time, budget, and scope
- Responsible for CMC & Device project budgets
- Member of the project Core teams, leading the overall development projects
- Build relations and communicate with stakeholders at all levels in the organization
- Communication and coordination with CMOs, CROs, device developers and business partners
- Building high-performing project teams
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have most or all of the below qualifications:
- A degree within chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or another relevant field
- Several years of experience from the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry
- Experience with drug development processes and leading cross-functional project teams
- Proven project management toolbox and experience with coordination of complex projects
- Preferable experience with regulatory submissions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Profound interpersonal skills and the ability maneuver across all levels in the organization
- You naturally bring a collaborative and structured approach to your work
- A proactive mindset and pragmatic approach to problem solving
