About TetraKit Technologies
TetraKit Technologies is a highly science-driven startup, which is currently revolutionizing radiopharmaceutical development and key concepts. Our proprietary TetraKit Platform is a groundbreaking click-chemistry based technology which simplifies the radiolabeling of any targeting molecule, with theranostic radionuclides. We focus in particular on the radiohalogens, notably astatine-211, the most promising radionuclide for alpha therapy, fluorine-18, iodine-131 and iodine-123. However, we also employ radiometals in our development. With this, we are establishing a broad pipeline of TetraKit-based radiopharmaceuticals, both in-house and via partnerships with the leading Radiopharma companies, worldwide.
The Position
As a Medicinal Chemist / Radiopharmaceutical Specialist, you will combine responsibilities within organic chemistry and radiochemistry to advance the development of innovative technology and radiopharmaceuticals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Design, synthesis, and optimization: Develop innovative technology and radiopharmaceuticals, focusing on organic synthesis, radiosynthesis and analysis of compounds.
- Technology transfer and support: Participate in the technology transfer and establishment of the TetraKit Platform to radiopharmaceutical manufacturing sites worldwide, overseeing implementation and troubleshooting.
- Documentation: Prepare, review, and optimize standardized protocols, ensuring high-quality and reproducible R&D.
- Training and collaboration: Lead staff training initiatives and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- A Ph.D. in radiopharmaceuticals, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutics, or a related discipline
- A M.Sc. with extensive post-degree experience in radiopharmaceuticals, chemistry, pharmaceutics, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in medicinal chemistry, with a focus on organic synthesis and drug development.
- Proven experience in radiopharmaceutical chemistry; expertise in radiolabeling with halogens is a significant advantage.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Excellent communication skills; fluency in English, spoken and written, is required (Danish is not needed for the position).
- Ability to collaborate effectively in diverse teams and across cultural boundaries.
- Flexibility to travel; this position involves up to 10% travel time.
