We are looking for a UX-oriented Design Manager strongly committed to the principles of human-centered design to join our Product Strategy and Design team based in Nordhavn, Copenhagen.
The Opportunity:
As our Design Manager you will be leading and supporting a talented team of design researchers and UX professionals to oversee and participate in design activities that result in impactful digital health apps launched to patients with a broad spectrum of diseases. You will be the people manager for a group of talented and culturally diverse designers that on a day-to-day basis are involved in design activities covering the full spectrum from early-days research to participation in agile software development on client projects and further building out our own digital platform. Furthermore, you will work closely with engineers, product- and project managers to transform user requirements and business objectives into outstanding user experiences.
Your Responsibilities:
- Building and managing a motivated, collaborative and high performing team of individuals from different disciplines, with varying seniority levels and responsibilities.
- Acting as a trusted and strategic partner for leaders across the organization and supporting them in the integration of human-centered design into other processes.
- Supporting our business development function by conducting client-facing workshops, participate in showcasing our design skills in written and personal pitches.
- Proposing and executing the staffing of team members and managing the team’s budget.
- Work closely with project owners and manager to ensure best practices and outcomes in the process.

About You:
- +3 years of experience directly managing, coaching and developing UX researchers with varying levels of seniority is preferred.
- +3 years of experience working with senior leadership.
- +5 years of experience conducting or overseeing UX- as well as UX research in product-focused teams or organizations.
- Professional user of tools like Figma and have a solid understanding of design systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, excellent at stakeholder management towards our clients from various pharma organizations.
- An effective and responsible communicator as well as an active listener.
- Invested in the quality and health of our workplace beyond the immediate team.
- Bonus points if you have worked with regulated design during your career.
