SimplerQMS is looking for a Product Owner to help us continue advancing the M-Files-based platform, supporting our mission to make compliance easier for life science teams.
The role you'll play
As a Product Owner at SimplerQMS, you will play a critical role in managing the backlog for a small, but impactful team and external consultants on a project basis. You’ll facilitate the product’s operations, covering smaller tasks such as addressing technical debt and maintaining business continuity. On the strategic side, you will collaborate with senior management to break down long-term visions into workable objectives, prioritize them, and ensure alignment with business goals, compliance risks, and user needs.
Your responsibilities will also include leading continuous discovery efforts, conducting customer interviews, and managing stakeholder expectations.

What SimplerQMS is looking for
We’re looking for a proactive and organized Product Owner who can bring structure and energy to our M-Files-based platform. Ideally, you have:
- Experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a software or platform-focused environment.
- Skills in classic agile deeds. This includes backlog management, facilitating prioritization, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience working with regulated industries (MedTech, Pharma, etc.) is a significant plus.
- Familiarity with M-Files or document management systems is highly beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, able to bridge technical and non-technical conversations.
- A business and user-centered mindset, driven by frequent customer interaction, business opportunities, and data-informed decisions.
- The ability to work effectively in a remote-first, global team environment.
