We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support to join our IT team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for end users seeking IT assistance. You will manage in-person inquiries and email requests, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of IT-related issues. When necessary, you will escalate complex issues to senior Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within the team or the external vendors. As you will be the first point of contact, this position requires on-site availability during the normal office hours from Monday-Friday.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests via drop-in and email.
- Troubleshoot and resolve 1st line IT issues, including hardware, software, network, and application-related problems.
- Log, track, and document support requests in the IT service management system.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors when necessary.
- Provide clear and concise updates to end users on the status of their requests.
- Assist in maintaining IT inventory, including hardware and software assets.
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve service desk processes and procedures.
- Ensure a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
- Adhere to IT policies, procedures, and security best practices.
Professional & Personal Qualifications
Besides enjoying working in a supporting function, we are seeking someone who:
- Has a bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent level of education in a relevant field.
- Previous experience in IT support, helpdesk, or customer service is a plus but not required. We welcome entry-level candidates with a passion for technology and people!
- Has a basic understanding of computer networks, hardware, and software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office suite). Knowing Microsoft Entra ID and 365 Admin is a plus, but not required.
- Is proficient in written and spoken English.
- Is well organized and has a very high attention to detail.
- Has excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Works in a structured and independent manner, with a willingness to learn.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
- Is able to work on-site from 9AM-3PM, Monday through Friday
