About Us
We deliver unrivalled dental imaging solutions that unlock the full potential of AI - designed for patient experience today and beyond.
Born out of the highly successful Danish company 3Shape, we have inherited world-class engineering DNA and paired it with a bold vision:
To unlock the full potential of dental radiology such that every patient, everywhere, can access high-quality, safe, and efficient care.
But we are not doing it alone. We collaborate directly with healthcare professionals, building cutting-edge technology that helps them work smarter, diagnose earlier, and care better—without compromise.
What makes us different?
We are a tight-knit team of experts, deep in knowledge and high in impact. A small enough team that every voice is heard, but experienced enough to punch far above our weight. Here, your work won’t get lost in layers of management—it will help shape the future of medical imaging.
We are looking for an AI/ML Software Engineer to join our growing team. If you’re excited by the idea of owning critical processes and bringing life-saving technology into the hands of clinicians - this is your moment.
Let’s build something that truly matters. Together.
Key Responsibilities
- Model Development Design, train, validate, and ship imaging ML algorithms (e.g. for classification, detection, segmentation, registration); take prototypes to robust production code.
- Integration Embed in‑house models and partner AI (SDKs/APIs) into existing products and imaging workflows.
- Pipelines Build reproducible data/model pipelines with unit/integration/perf tests, CI/CD, and experiment/data versioning.
- Verification Plan and run V&V studies for internal and regulatory needs; monitor accuracy, robustness, bias, and drift with full traceability and documentation.
- Collaboration Work with engineers, QA, and clinicians to turn clinical needs into safe, usable features and clear acceptance criteria.
What will make you stand out?
- M.Sc. degree or higher in data science, computer science, engineering or similar
- Experience delivering ML solutions to production; medical-imaging experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Python; PyTorch or TensorFlow; solid software engineering skills (code reviews, testing, documentation)
- Experience with deployment of ML algorithms (MLOps).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills -- English at business level, and generally comfortable in an international atmosphere.
- Some experience working with large, complex codebases and a commitment to writing well-tested, reliable code.
- Some familiarity with medical device development standards and regulations such as ISO13485/14971, 62304 and the EU AI Act, ensuring high-quality and compliant software.
What will make you successful?
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment where ambiguity and unexpected challenges are part of the journey - not roadblocks.
- You’re a collaborative team player who communicates openly and builds trust across disciplines.
- You’re naturally curious, quick to learn, and energised by diving into new challenges and technologies.
What we offer?
We’re not just offering a job - we’re offering a chance to be part of something transformative. As we build out a new frontier in radiology and X-ray technology, you’ll have the opportunity to grow with us, shape our journey, and make a real difference in healthcare. Here’s what you can expect when you join our team:
- Meaningful challenges in a dynamic, fast-growing company shaping the future of radiology on a global scale.
- A collaborative, expert team of skilled professionals who are passionate about solving complex problems together.
- The opportunity to influence groundbreaking technology, contributing directly to the next generation of 3D dental and medical X-ray solutions.
- A culture of openness and integrity, where feedback flows freely and everyone’s voice counts.
- A competitive compensation and benefits package that reflects the value you bring.
- A rare chance to help build something from the ground up—both technically and commercially—as we expand into an exciting new frontier.
