Be the new Senior Director, Competitive Intelligence

Currently, we are looking for a new Senior Director, Competitive Intelligence in our Søborg Denmark office, who will be a strategic leader responsible for building, leading and executing a best-in-class Competitive Intelligence function. Responsibilities
- Strategy & Leadership – Drive Competitive Intelligence strategy to support planning, investor communications, and product development; act as CI Center of Excellence; manage small team/vendors.
- Market Analysis – Monitor competitors, pipelines, market trends, regulations, partnerships, and emerging technologies; synthesize diverse data into clear insights.
- Event Intelligence – Lead CI at key congresses; track competitor activities and KOL sentiment; deliver rapid, actionable insights to leadership.
- Cross-Functional Impact – Collaborate across teams on category assessments, scenario planning, positioning, TPPs, go/no-go decisions, and business development; maintain external intelligence networks to identify threats/opportunities.
Candidate profile
- Extensive pharma, biotech, VC, or analyst experience across science and business functions (e.g., new product planning, medical affairs, strategic planning, commercial, market analysis) and recent competitive intelligence (CI) experience
- Strong quantitative/data analysis skills; able to translate complex preclinical/clinical data and trial designs and scientific and business dynamics into insights for strategic
- Expertise in obesity and/or cardiovascular–renal metabolism (scientific, medical, or commercial)
- Passion for the science–business interface; adept at engaging in both technical and strategic discussions
- Track record of leading teams and influencing across the product/portfolio lifecycle
- Strategic agility in complex, fast-changing, matrixed environments
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and executive influence skills
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate market shifts and shape strategy
