SimplerQMS is a rapidly growing, bootstrapped SaaS company serving the life sciences industry. With 60+ team members across 10 countries, we are proud of our diverse, values-driven, and remote-first culture.
We are now hiring our first dedicated People Operations Lead to take full ownership of the HR function and support our continued growth. While we already have a Talent Acquisition Lead in place to manage recruitment, this role will focus on people operations, culture, compliance, and employee development.
You will report to the CFO and work on-site at our centrally located office in Copenhagen.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable people operations processes that support company growth
- Build and maintain clear documentation of all people-related processes, policies, and guidelines
- Lead performance management, development planning, and employee engagement initiatives
- Foster a strong, inclusive, and values-aligned culture across our global team
- Provide strategic and operational support to leaders on people-related matters
- Manage employee relations and day-to-day HR support
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and employment compliance together with our EOR partners
- Own employee data, contracts, and all core HR administration
- Ensure HR practices are compliant and aligned with our company values
- Support organizational development and change initiatives
- Lead or participate in ad hoc people-related projects
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in a broad HR/people operations role, ideally in a scale-up or international company
- Proven ability to work strategically while handling day-to-day execution
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across functions and cultures
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and ability to work independently
- Experience working in international or hybrid teams
- Fluency in English and availability to work full-time on-site in Copenhagen
