We are dedicated to scaling up and making a significant impact in the dermatology space, and we are looking for a talented Student Laboratory Assistant to join our team.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated master’s student in biology, pharmaceuticals, or a related field to join our team during their master’s project. The role involves working 16 hours per week, with flexibility in scheduling. While weekend work is generally avoided, occasional weekend support may be required. The position is based entirely on-site at Symbion in Copenhagen, with no remote work option.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory work, leveraging bachelor-level lab skills (minimum requirement).
- Perform ex vivo tests on pig tissue, handling pig tissue to test various products made by the company.
- Assist with taking and analyzing biopsies.
- Perform pathological laboratory procedures.
- Document and analyze data, ensuring high-quality results.
- Learn and support the company in scaling up, with opportunities to acquire new skills and expand your expertise.
- Collaborate closely with the Science Manager and other team members, working semi-independently after thorough training.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree in biology, pharmaceuticals, or a related field.
- Proficient in English (Danish not required).
- Bachelor-level lab skills, including familiarity with standard lab procedures.
- Available to work for at least four months, with the potential for a longer-term commitment.
