Be the new Commercial Senior Manager / Associate Director – Obesity

Currently, we are looking for a new Commercial Senior Manager who has Commercial business acumen and experience in delivering innovative results preferably within the pharmaceutical industry or biotech. As part of Zealand Pharma's Commercial Department, you will join the Obesity vertical, contributing to critical projects across various commercial functions. This cross-functional role involves conducting research, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and supporting multiple workstreams, providing valuable input to strategic initiatives.
This is a unique opportunity to make an impact in a high-priority therapeutic area (TA) with a broad and diverse portfolio of ongoing projects, while developing your skills in a fast-paced, high-growth biotech environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Obesity Strategy, Market Research, and Market Access teams to drive critical initiatives.
- Conduct and collect research, structure, and analyze data to provide actionable insights across the commercial team.
- Support a wide range of commercial projects and ad-hoc tasks in a fast-paced cross-functional capacity.
- Actively contribute to Zealand Pharma´s alliance and integration success of co-development and co-commercialization efforts for Zealand Pharma's robust pipeline of obesity assets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization, engaging with stakeholders both in the Danish HQ and the US-based commercial team
Candidate profile
- Experience within the pharmaceutical industry or biotech.
- A demonstrated eagerness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Commercial business acumen across a variety of roles and demonstrated experience in delivering innovative results
- Strong interest in the pharmaceutical industry and a rapidly evolving obesity therapeutic area.
- Proficiency in market research and data analysis, with a desire to grow in these areas.
- Ability to innovate and ideate on traditional commercial approaches and applications.
- Comfort working with numbers, analyzing figures, and delivering high-quality outputs.
- Collaborative and Team-Oriented: Effective stakeholder management skills and a willingness to embrace diverse perspectives.
- Driven by excellence with an uncompromising focus on quality.
- Fluent in written and oral English.
