Are you eager to build a new finance function and leave your mark on the economy of an international company?
At Dawn Health, we are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to play a pivotal role in shaping our new internal finance function, reporting directly to the CFO. You will also become part of a company with colleagues from 32 different nationalities, working together to develop digital health solutions that truly make a difference for patients worldwide.
A role with impact
As a Senior Financial Controller at Dawn Health, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to help build an entirely new finance function, making a tangible difference from day one. In this role, you will:
- Establish structure and overview: Handle classic accounting tasks such as reconciliations and month-end closings, prepare audit materials, manage AR & AP performance, ensure accurate and timely reporting for the headquarters and three international subsidiaries.
- Ensure compliance: Ensure processes and reporting meet accounting standards and internal policies.
- Build something new: Contribute to shaping and optimizing our Finance function. Finance is currently outsourced to a professional partner; your role will support a successful insourcing of the Finance function.
- Be part of something bigger: Collaborate closely with a Business Controller and Bookkeeper, as well as colleagues from 32 different nationalities, in a dynamic and international environment.
You’ll take on a role with both responsibility and freedom, diving into details, contributing to the big picture, and influencing how we manage finance at Dawn Health.
Are you the one we’re looking for?
We’re seeking someone who:
- Has 3-6 years of experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role.
- Holds a relevant degree in finance, such as cand.merc.aud, FIR, or equivalent.
- Is skilled in Accounting & Controlling and thrives on ensuring data quality in the company’s ERP (Workbook).
- Detail-oriented by nature and meets deadlines.
- Has experience preparing month-end closings for an international company, creating materials for auditors, and liaising with local advisors.
- Has experience with departmental budget follow-ups.
- Is familiar with VAT filings and statistical reporting for a Danish company.
- Has strong Excel skills and can read and understand Danish.
- Is positive, curious, and motivated by working in an international company with a dynamic workday.
- Values teamwork and excels at providing feedback and inspiring others.
Why you should apply?
We offer more than just a job—we offer the chance to be part of something bigger:
- Purpose-driven projects: Lead digital health products that genuinely make a difference.
- Supportive culture: Join a team of passionate individuals who love what they do—and know how to have fun along the way.
- Development opportunities: We invest in your growth, development, and independence.
- A vibrant work environment: From social events to a focus on work-life balance, we take care of our employees.
