About MATR Foods
MATR Foods is a Danish food tech start-up on a mission to build a tastier, healthier and more sustainable future by changing the way we eat, through next generation fermented plant-based products. At MATR, we want to start a positive movement that brings people together around food that’s truly fit for the future.
We utilize nature’s own fungi fermentation to unify vegetables and legumes into natural and craveable food, for food lovers, by food lovers. We launched our first products in 2023 with great demand by consumers and customers, and now we’re entering the next stage of our journey with a full-scale production in our first of a kind factory build in Denmark and internationalization to Germany & Switzerland.
What you’ll be doing
As our Customer Service Specialist, you will be the key contact for our retail and food service customers in German speaking region and Denmark.
You will...
- manage customer orders, deliveries, and inquiries with precision and care
- support both retail and wholesale clients, ensuring smooth communication and high satisfaction
- coordinate with internal teams (sales, logistics, production) to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment
- support the customer acquisition process using CRM tools
- handle complaints and returns professionally and proactively
- maintain and update customer data and documentation
- contribute to the continuous improvement of our customer service processes
What you’re bringing
- minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, ideally in the food industry
- familiarity with retail and wholesale structures and processes
- fluent in German and Danish; your English should be confident
- strong communication and organizational skills
- experience with CRM tools is an advantage
- proactive mindset and hands-on attitude
- comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
