Our IT setup is critical to supporting innovation, research, and global operations. With a small but skilled IT team, every person plays a key role in ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
As a System Administrator, you will be part of a lean team with broad responsibilities, working closely with both management and users. You will have the chance to shape our IT infrastructure as the company grows, balancing hands-on operations with long-term improvements.
Position Overview
This is a full-time role with responsibility for the administration, development, and security of our IT systems. You will ensure smooth daily operations while driving improvements that support our rapid growth and international presence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor core infrastructure (servers, networks, backups, firewalls, user accounts, etc.).
- Ensure a high level of IT security across the company (endpoint protection, patch management, access control).
- Provide user support and training for colleagues, ensuring that the IT setup empowers their daily work.
- Implement and roll out new applications, systems, and cloud services.
- Drive improvements in automation, scripting, and monitoring to scale IT operations.
- Support international subsidiaries with IT needs in collaboration with local teams and external partners.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Solid experience as a system administrator or IT generalist, ideally in a small-to-mid-size company.
- Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure (Virtualization, Windows servers, Active Directory, networking, cloud services, backups).
- Strong sense of responsibility, able to work independently and follow through on tasks.
- Practical experience with IT security principles and implementation.
- Hands-on experience with scripting and automation is a plus.
- Good communication skills in both Danish and English, with an ability to explain IT topics to non-technical colleagues.
- Relevant IT education. Certifications (e.g. Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA) are an advantage but not required.
