The job
You will become part of the growing global Product Management team. The team plays a central role in both the development of new products and the lifecycle management of existing ones. This includes participating in the Design and Development process as well as supporting the commercial organization with product and technical information.
You will take ownership of selected products and participate in usability engineering activities across our portfolio to accelerate innovation and ensure smooth, well-coordinated launches. The role is highly cross-functional, working closely with internal colleagues in R&D, QA/RA, operations, commercial, service, as well as end-customers, distribution partners and external technology companies.
The role will be based out of our Headquarters in Farum, Denmark.
Tasks
You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle – from early ideas, through planning and development, to market implementation and beyond. You will:
- Take ownership of selected products, managing roadmap, requirements, and lifecycle from idea to market launch and beyond.
- Gather and translate customer and market input into clear requirements, driving usability engineering activities and aligning with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate development and change processes (ECR/ECO), ensuring smooth cross-functional collaboration with R&D, QA/RA, Operations, Commercial, and Partners.
- Support product launches and lifecycle activities through documentation, training materials, demos, and commercial enablement.
- Maintain close collaboration with customers, advisors, and technology partners to integrate feedback, track competitors, and identify new opportunities.
- Expected travel 40-60 days/year worldwide.
Qualifications
We acknowledge a broad set of backgrounds, but typically look for:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical/Clinical Engineering, Neuroscience, Health Tech, or a related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in product management or engineering roles within regulated medical devices (ISO 13485), with hands-on exposure to usability engineering (IEC 62366) and risk management (ISO 14971).
- Strong ability to turn customer and market input into clear requirements, documentation, and change control processes (ECR/ECO).
- Proven skills in technical communication (release notes, user guides, training content) and familiarity with ERP/PLM systems and item/BOM structures.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Danish is a plus. Familiarity with IEC 60601, clinical evaluations, post-market surveillance, or multimedia training content is an advantage.
