The Opportunity:

As a Senior Data Specialist, you will play a crucial role in defining and developing this analytics platform from the ground up. You will be architecting and implementing the foundations of our data infrastructure that will power insights across all our Software as Medical Device products for Pharma and Medical device clients. Responsibilities:
Platform Architecture & Development:
- Architect, design, and lead the implementation of Dawn Health's core data analytics platform.
- Establish robust data engineering patterns and best practices for our healthcare data ecosystem.
- Develop and optimize scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines that ensure data quality, compliance, and reliability.
- Create reusable analytics components and frameworks that can be deployed across multiple client solutions.
- Establish performance benchmarks and optimization strategies for our analytics infrastructure.
Analytics Innovation:
- Apply expert-level SQL and programming skills to solve complex healthcare data challenges.
- Design sustainable analytics dashboards and visualization solutions that deliver actionable insights.
- Implement advanced statistical methods and machine learning approaches where applicable.
- Develop standardized analytics models that can be deployed across multiple client implementations.
- Create innovative approaches to measure digital health intervention effectiveness.
- Set up connections to new and diverse data sources as our platform evolves.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with product leadership to align analytics platform capabilities with product roadmaps.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for platform development.
- Present platform capabilities and roadmap to senior stakeholders and potential clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform meets diverse stakeholder needs.

About You:

- You possess expert-level SQL and programming skills (Python, R) with a focus on data engineering.
- You have deep knowledge of modern data stack architectures, ETL/ELT patterns, and cloud-based analytics.

- You have experience building analytics platforms that can scale across multiple client implementations.

Your Qualifications and Experience:
We are looking for a person with 5-8 years of experience in Data Analytics and Platform Development, who will bring strong technical vision to the team and who may have:
- Experience designing and building analytics platforms or data infrastructure from the ground up.
- Deep understanding of healthcare data systems and the unique challenges of medical data.
- Experience working within regulated life science industries and compliance frameworks.
- Expertise in data lake and data warehouse architectures, preferably in cloud environments.
- Strong background in establishing data governance protocols and best practices.
- Comprehensive understanding of product development lifecycle and analytics integration.
- An MSc. degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
