StepUp Horse is a Copenhagen-based company (start-up), that provides a wearable device for trainers and jockeys to track parameters for a horse in real-time, including breathing rate, heart rate, speed, distance and other parameters. With this data accessible through a smartwatch and an app on phone, StepUp Horse removes the guesswork from training racehorses and also monitor welfare of horses.
Role Description
This is a hybrid internship role for a Business Development Intern - Full / Part time. The Business Development Intern will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as lead generation, meeting & testing product with potential customers, getting feedback and assisting with marketing campaigns. The role will be located in Copenhagen, but the intern will be allowed to work from home.
Requirements & Skills:
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Detailed oriented and ability to multitask
- Proficiency in English and Danish language is a must
- Driving license is a must
- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Experience in a customer service or sales or business development or market research role is a plus
- Having knowledge about equine industry is a plus but not mandatory
