Full Stack Software Developer at Unseen Bio:

Your Role:
- Design and develop sleek and intuitive user interfaces for data-rich applications
- Build and maintain scalable, high-performance databases
- Implement and refine data governance strategies for large and diverse datasets
- Ensure robust data and cybersecurity across all layers of our tech stack
- Take ownership of the maintenance and security of all company software systems
- Manage and support physical IT equipment, from in-house servers to colleagues’ laptops
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and client product teams to solve unique data and visualisation challenges with scientific and applied targets
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of our technology, coding culture and best practices
Who Are You:
- You bring 2–5 years of experience as a full-stack developer, ideally within a biotech, medical or health sciences
- You’re confident with modern JavaScript frameworks (Vue, React, Svelte, etc.), including the basics (HTML, CSS, SASS) and some widely used visualisation packages (D3.js, plotly.js)
- You have a strong grasp of database architecture, governance and design (SQL, NoSQL -OLAP and RDBMS)
- You’re passionate about data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity and on top of the latest threads, trends, best practice countermeasures and legislation.
- You thrive on learning new technologies and tackling complex technical problems
- You communicate excellently in spoken and written English and enjoy working in cross-functional teams
- You are confident in composing and deploying Docker containers, managing Arch and NixOS servers, and proficient with networking.
- You’re comfortable wearing many hats, from developing software to handling IT support and infrastructure
- Experience with LLMs, machine learning, and other AI principles is a major plus—if you’ve worked with AI/ML frameworks, integrated continuous ML deployment, or explored large language models, we want to hear about it!
