Be the new (Principal) Medical Writer

Currently, we are looking for a (Principal) Medical Writer with strong scientific capabilities, excellent writing skills, and the ability to interpret and present complex scientific data clearly and accurately. Our Medical Writing team currently consists of seven talented Medical Writers, and we are now expanding to support our exciting pipeline of drug candidates in development.
In your daily work, you will work closely together with colleagues across the organization to produce high-quality regulatory documents. You will have a unique opportunity to use your knowledge of clinical research, regulatory processes and scientific methodology, and as Zealand Pharma is undergoing a rapid development the job may also offer other opportunities depending on your experience and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Prepare regulatory documents, including clinical trial protocols, investigator’s brochures, clinical summaries, regulatory meeting packages, and clinical trial reports.
- Ensure all documents comply with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical and science, regulatory affairs, and biometrics, to achieve project goals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapeutic areas, regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of document templates and writing standards.
Candidate profile
- Academic degree (MSc/PhD) in a health-related or scientific discipline.
- Clinical/regulatory medical writing experience from a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CRO environment.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of clinical research, regulatory processes, and scientific methodology.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
