Be the new Associate IT Cloud Engineer

As Associate IT Cloud Engineer at Zealand Pharma, you will work with the Senior Director, IT Infrastructure and Operations, other IT colleagues, and stakeholders across the company to operate cloud infrastructure solutions and support existing systems. The environment includes mostly Microsoft platforms, both on-premise and in the cloud.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing cloud-specific security policies, standards and procedures e.g., Azure tenant management and configuration, identify management and access control, auditing and monitoring, security incident and event management, user and administrator account management, SSO, conditional access controls and password/key management.
- Perform SSO integrations. Experience with SCIM or JIT provisioning required. Working with the vendors and the business to plan and execute integrations from start to finish.
- Operation and maintenance of secure global cloud infrastructure used by all employees.
- Perform and support the migration of on-premise technologies to SaaS or similar cloud solutions.
- Automating workloads and processes with Azure Automation and Logic Apps.
- Present technology trends, develop knowledge and skills to mentor fellow engineers.
- Proactively observe IT practices and recommend solutions to solve problems or alleviate pain points.
- Act as an escalation point for IT service desk and IT infrastructure team members and the business.
- Writing and updating technical documentation such as architecture and design documents, user manuals, system documentation, technical standards, and training materials.
- Work within a multi-site IT team located in Denmark and the USA.
- Evaluate and understand project requirements. Drive projects to completion.
- Document, maintain, and monitor compliance to GxP, and security policies as needed.
Candidate profile:
- Desired degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Equivalent Experience.
- Microsoft SaaS operational and best-practice operations experience. Entra ID, Microsoft 365, skills required.
- Hands on experience managing Azure infrastructure including network, virtual machines, and various resources preferably using code.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in composing PowerShell scripts for automation workloads.
- Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls, etc.
- Operational knowledge of e-mail best practices including SPF, DMARC, DKIM, mail flow, security.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
- You have hands-on experience in governing Azure (Management Groups, Subscriptions, Azure Policies, RBAC, etc.) using the cloud adoption framework.
- Knowledge of SSO integrations, including SAML and other authentication protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize projects independently.
