Position Overview We're seeking an exceptional Data Scientist with a strong base in statistics to join our Copenhagen team. You'll work with our modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, terraform) to scale our biomarker platform from research to production. The ideal candidate combines strong statistical expertise with hands-on engineering capabilities and thrives in a dynamic environment where versatility is key. This role requires proficiency in SQL and Python, plus the adaptability and enthusiasm to tackle diverse technical challenges as we expand our diagnostic platform.
Your Impact - First 3 Months
· Master our professional data stack (Snowflake, dbt cloud, terraform)
· Contribute to our automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub actions
· Integrate with our MLOps infrastructure (ClearML)
· Process and analyze critical datasets with our international team
· Support key company decisions through data-driven insights
Your Impact - First Year
· Scale our data platform as the company grows
· Lead preparation of diagnostic tests for regulatory filing
· Expand our real-world data program
· Enhance biomarker discovery initiatives
· Support US market expansion
Your Team
· Direct teamwork with our data scientist in Copenhagen
· Strategic input from part-time senior advisor with extensive bioinformatics experience
· Access to our Silicon Valley network for specialized expertise
Required Qualifications
· PhD or MSc with 2-7 years of industry experience
· Strong foundation in statistics and data engineering
· Expertise in SQL and Python programming
Technical Skills
· Proficiency in: Git, SQL, Python
· Knowledge of: bash, R, MLOps
· Expertise in building scalable data systems
· Experience with small to medium-sized dataset constraints
· Experience with Snowflake, dbt, terrafrom, ClearML, GitHub actions is a plus.
