Mechanical Development at MagVenture
At MagVenture, mechanical development plays a vital role in seamlessly integrating electrical and other subsystems, ensuring robust performance and reliability. This hands-on role involves designing innovative mechanical solutions to keep us at the forefront of our industry as we develop the next generation of technologies.
The Mechanical Team is essential in driving cutting-edge product development. As the Mechanics Team Lead, you will collaborate with leadership in both R&D and MagVenture to shape and prioritize the development roadmap, focusing on new solutions (70%) while optimizing existing platforms (30%).
Position Overview
As the Mechanics Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in strengthening our mechanical team while actively contributing to development efforts. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will lead and empower a dynamic R&D team, driving mechanical projects from concept to delivery. Your leadership will be integral to our growth strategy, ensuring innovation and excellence in mechanical development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow the mechanical engineering team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Hands-on participating in product design.
- Develop and integrate advanced mechanical solutions to enhance performance and reliability.
- Manage mechanical resources and engineering best practices.
- Strengthen partnerships with suppliers, consultants, and external stakeholders.
- Ensure high-quality documentation, product compliance, and certification.
- Support prototyping, testing, and manufacturing release for new products.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering with leadership experience in mechanical development.
- 5+ years of experience in precision medical, electronic instruments, or industrial hi-tech equipment development.
- Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills.
- Expertise in mechanical design & drawing standards for injection molding, CNC machining, and sheet metal.
- Hands-on experience with 3D printing, workshop tools, and modern manufacturing methods.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality, reliability, and design for manufacturability.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Fluent in Danish & English
- Preferred: Experienced SolidWorks user.
