About the Position
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Manager to oversee all aspects of the construction process. In this role, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. You will be working both in the construction planning and execution phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate construction projects from start to finish.
- Supervise subcontractors and on-site teams.
- Review design and ensure construcability and safety (AMK-P).
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations (AMK-B).
- Report project progress to stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve challenges on-site.
- Compile quality assurance documentation (KS) from contractors.
About you
We are seeking a proactive, solution-oriented and reliable Construction Manager who wants to take on a wide range of responsibilities and maintain a good spirit among the execution team. You should be prepared to make decisions across all disciplines and trades to ensure progress.
You should be prepared to work both in an office environment with the planning and engineering team and on the construction site, where you will coordinate daily operations.
In addition, you bring:
- A background in construction or engineering. For example, Bachelor of Architectural Technology and Construction Management (Konstruktør), Bachelor in Technology Management and Marine Engineering (Maskinmester), or similar.
- More than 3 years of work experience and experience from construction sites.
- Experience leading diverse teams and managing client relationships, ensuring effective on-site collaboration.
- The ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining focus on efficient problem-solving.
- Knowledge of construction legislation and standards (BR18, AB18).
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Coordination (AMK).
Your responsibilities will primarily be carried out at client sites, so flexibility in transportation is essential, as we operate wherever the project is located.
