Be the new Student Assistant (Medicine/Life Science) in the Medical & Science Department

Currently, we are looking for a new Student Assistant, who is self-driven, energetic and wants to contribute to a company poised to make a difference in a number of therapeutic areas. You must have a flair for science, literature search, presentation of complex science and be good at slide generation, word processing and spreadsheets to support our teams in their everyday work. You will contribute to the preparation of meetings, administration of scientific literature and knowledge sharing. Administrative tasks as meeting booking and contract handling and follow-up is an important part of the job as well. The working language is English.
You must be able to work one or more days a week. The position is based in our offices in Søborg, Copenhagen. You will work for an average of 15 hours per week and this position require on-site presence with the possibility of working from home when suitable. We expect some flexibility from you when we are especially busy. On the other hand, we are also flexible when you are having busy exam periods. The position is in the Medical & Science department, which among many things helps create and drive clinical trials for our assets in the development pipeline. This position will report directly to the Head of Medical & Science and be a part of a dedicated and experienced Medical & Science department of 20 people.
Responsibilities include:
- Searching for and collating relevant scientific information within the respective therapeutic areas
- Contributing to build the scientific knowledge base
- Using slide generation, word processing and spreadsheets to solve tasks and create overviews as assigned
- Ensuring contracts and agreements are effectuated and archived in the contracting system
- Assisting the team with diverse ad hoc tasks
- Ensure weekly follow-up on tasks
Candidate profile
The successful candidate will have most of or all the following qualifications:
Education/Experience
- The student must be enrolled into a Master program of study within life science
- Previous experience with research and scientific project work is preferred
Personal qualifications
- Interested in the science of drug development and clinical trials
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Structured, thorough and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently, take initiatives and not afraid of asking questions
- Enthusiastic, resolute, and flexible approach to work
- Willingness to learn new things and a can-do attitude
- Enjoy being part of a team and achieve things together
- Fluent in written and spoken English (company language) and Danish
