Be the new Senior Device Developer

Currently, we are looking for a new Senior Device Developer, who has the expertise of developing novel Drug delivery solutions. If this sounds like you, and you are ready to take on a broad area of responsibilities with an independent attitude, you are a match for us.
You will be part of the Zealand Pharma Device Development team of highly engaged and
competent colleagues and be reporting to the VP of Device Development. The job includes execution and documentation of device development activities as well as regulatory and manufacturing documentation for drug delivery devices.
The job includes extensive collaboration across the Zealand Pharma organization and includes close dialogue with our device development partners and contract manufacturing organizations. You will be a key contributor to making innovative drugs available to patients.
Responsibilities
The job will include development activities for drug delivery devices within all disciplines
of Design Control: Planning, Requirement management, development, Design outputs,
Design verification, Risk management and Design validation.
Candidate profile
The successful candidate will have most or all of the below qualifications:
- Degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Engineering, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field).
- Minimum 5+ years in medical device development.
- Experience in the medical device industry, particularly in:
- Design Control and Device Development in compliance with ISO 13485.
- Risk Management and Usability Engineering.
- Design Verification and Design Validation principles.
- Combination products development under FDA and EU MDR requirements.
- Strong international collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
- Proactive mindset with the ability to plan, execute, and meet deadlines.
- Analytical skills to manage complex technical issues and data.
- Genuine interest in working in a dynamic environment.
