Currently, we are looking for a new Head of People Operations who can support our growth journey and set the strategic direction for all of Zealand Pharma’s HR operations. In the role you will head up the People Operations area, covering P&O Operations, P&O systems, Payroll, Facility and In-House service functions which currently consist of 14 colleagues but growing. People Operations is part of the People & Organization (P&O) department, and you will be member of the P&O Leadership team and report to the EVP, Chief People Officer.
The role requires a strategic thinker with motivational leadership skills and a keen eye for structure, processes and data analytics. You will be responsible for continuing the development of our people operations and employer experience as Zealand Pharma grows and be an operational leader driving process, growth and efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record from similar roles, a passion for leading people, and we hope that you will thrive with the following responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR operational strategies that align with Zealand Pharma’s goals and growth.
- Supervise end-to-end People Experience and HR processes, from onboarding to offboarding ensuring they are efficient, compliant, and support business needs.
- Act as a key advisor on employment law, related policies, compliance, GDPR, global mobility, collective bargaining agreement and best practices.
- Lead the further implementation and optimization of our HRIS (Workday) and other HR-related tools.
- Develop and use data analytics to improve decision-making and reporting.
- Develop and implement the overall strategic direction in the facility management area.
- Act as key sponsor in planning for Zealand Pharma’s new office space as we continue to grow.
Candidate Profile
To be a success in this role the most important trait is your interest in people and that you bring a positive can-do-attitude. Furthermore, we hope that you can tick as many as the following boxes:
- A degree in law, human resources, business administration or similar.
- Solid leadership experience from an HR operations function in a global company
- Ability to analyze HR metrics and derive actionable insights to inform decision-making.
- Proactive and self-driven attitude and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Experience from implementation of and/or working with Workday.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex processes with a focus on efficiency and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Having experience from a fast-growing organization will be an advantage in this role.
- Preferably knowledge from pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industry.
- Experience from a facility management role, including vendor negotiations, space planning, and workplace safety regulations will be an advantage in this role.
