Visiopharm is a mid-sized MedTech company that specializes in transforming pathology through AI-based tissue analysis and standardization. We empower scientists and pathologists with AI-driven precision pathology software for research and diagnostics, including tools for tissue-based research, IVDR compliant algorithms, and quality control for standardization of tissue biomarker staining.
You will join our Quality team within R&D, consisting of passionate professionals who balance serious work with a light-hearted atmosphere. We deliver high quality software products by following agile methodologies prioritizing effectiveness over rigid processes. Our headquarters in Hørsholm serves as your primary workplace, but we understand the importance of flexibility in today's world.
About the role:
As a Senior Software Engineer within our Quality Team in R&D, you'll maintain and enhance our critical web applications while developing new solutions that directly impact patient care. Working in a multi-disciplinary product team alongside developers, project managers, UX specialists, and computational pathology experts, you will bridge the gap between complex medical requirements and elegant technical solutions.
Core technical requirements:
- Proven experience with C#, .NET Core, and MVC frameworks
- Strong foundation in writing testable code, with practical experience in NUnit, Selenium, and Moq or similar
- Proficiency in database management, with SQL Server (and SQLite) via Entity Framework Core
- Solid understanding of web development fundamentals and front-end technologies
Advantageous skills:
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and native components
- Knowledge of Git, TeamCity or similar CI/CD platforms
- Experience with Blazor development
- Background in healthcare or medical software development is ideal but not a prerequisite
- Used to working with issue tracking systems like Jira
