We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical Director to lead clinical development activities for our growing pipeline of investigational therapies. As a key member of the clinical development team, the Medical Director will provide strategic medical leadership and scientific expertise to drive the design, execution, and oversight of clinical trials across various stages of drug development. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and driving our clinical programs, providing medical oversight, and contributing to the advancement of our pipeline.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide medical input on clinical trial design, including endpoints, patient populations, and inclusion/exclusion criteria
- Work closely with key opinion leaders (KOLs), external investigators, and clinical site staff to facilitate clinical trial execution and data dissemination
- Provide medical oversight throughout the trial phases, interpreting and documenting results, and supporting regulatory submissions
- Serve as the medical expert and oversee the safety of patients in clinical studies, including signal detection
- Contribute to regulatory strategies, generate and review clinical and medical components of key regulatory, documents (e.g., INDs, NDAs, investigators brochure, protocols, safety reports)
- Provide medical insight into new projects and strategic decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Clinical, Bioinformatitics, Research, Translational Medicine, Regulatory) and external stakeholders (regulatory bodies, scientific experts, advisory boards)
- Direct the publication and communication strategy for clinical data, working closely with Scientific Communications team
- Proactively analyze, evaluate, and interpret clinical data to support decision-making and address complex drug development challenges
- Lead interactions with regulatory authorities, key opinion leaders, patient advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to advance clinical development programs
- Present clinical data to internal and external stakeholders, including scientific conferences, advisory boards, and investor meetings
What will make you stand out:
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree, preferably with a PhD; experience in hematology, oncology, or AML is an advantage
- At least 5 years of clinical drug development experience within biotech or the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with proficiency in English
- A high degree of independence, with decision-making responsibilities that have a significant business impact
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a patient-centric mindset and innovative approach to trial design
