Used for research in phase separation, formulation, and general protein characterisation, it enables experiments once thought impossible. Now, we’re searching for a dedicated Head of Sales to introduce this unique technology to more labs across academia and industry in Europe.
Why This Role Matters
Labbot is at an exciting turning point. As our first Head of Sales, you’ll take charge of hands-on sales work—building relationships, managing leads, and closing deals. In the long term, you’ll craft a scalable sales strategy and build a team to expand our reach. Your insights will also help shape our product, applications, and messaging.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Managing the Sales Pipeline for both academic and industrial prospects.
- Developing and refining a scalable sales strategy.
- Building trust-based relationships with researchers and decision-makers.
- Reporting customer insights to improve our product and communication.
- Representing Labbot at conferences and industry events across Europe.
What We’re Looking For
- Scientific Expertise: PhD in a relevant field, with knowledge of biochemistry, biophysics, or spectroscopy.
- Sales Experience: Proven success in sales within academia or industry.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to deliver compelling technical demonstrations.
- Relationship Builder: Skilled at building trust and credibility with diverse audiences.
- Culturally Agile: Comfortable navigating between academic and industrial sectors.
- Independent and Collaborative: Thrives in a team but takes initiative and works independently.
- Flexible and Mobile: Willing to travel across Europe regularly.
- Problem Solver: Helps buyers overcome challenges like procurement compliance and scientific validation.
