Global Technical Manager for Biostimulants
At Agrobiomics we are looking for a Global Technical Manager to support the development and market positioning of our biostimulants. In this role you will provide agronomic and market expertise, and competitor foresight for new technologies. You will ensure the implementation of field trials on a global basis and provide strategic technical drive as the prime partner for technical counterparts including business and R&D.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the global technical development of new products, from early research field testing to product launch, actively looking for new approaches to enhance Intellectual Property and position a product’s value proposition towards differentiation.
- Coordinate harmonized field trial programs, liaising with contractors to deliver data efficiently and on time.
- Provide technical positioning for our biostimulants and communicate technical strategies for product use and development plans to deliver agreed business objectives.
- Translate data into compelling technical launch plans that meet market/customer needs.
- Establish network and effective relationships with key external technical influencers.
- Track development of projects and drive complementary technical support activities.
- Drive strategic innovation and creativity in projects and solutions, identifying new market opportunities for formulations and use of technology.
- Technically support current and new third-party products and be fully involved in the third-party negotiation team.
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge and practical experience with developing biostimulants and agricultural sciences (e.g., MSc, Ph.D. or relevant agronomy experience).
- Broad and detailed knowledge of agribusiness (applied agronomy into production systems, crop nutrition, biostimulants, biologicals, new technologies).
- 5-10 years market experience in biostimulants product development and agronomy.
- Proven track-record of delivering successful development projects in country/region/global role.
- Experience data analysis and visualisation techniques to present field trial results in a new and easily understandable way.
- You are focused on customers and dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
- You are fluent in written and oral in English, any other language is an asset.
- You have the ability to decide, influence, lead, problem solve and build a culture of innovation which creates an environment that inspires and supports creativity towards a customer outcome.
- You have strong pro-active soft and communication skills, seeking alignment with stakeholders
Location
Ideally the candidate will be located in Copenhagen, Denmark.
We are also open for home-based candidates within Europe.
