Job Summary
As Senior Finance Controller at 21st.BIO, you will play a key role in supporting the financial function of 21st.BIO. You will work closely with your future colleagues in the finance team to ensure that all necessary financial processes, records, and reporting are continuously updated and compliant with relevant legislation and best accounting practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full balance sheet and P&L controlling, including monthly reconciliations and budget analysis.
- Participate in month-end, year-end, and annual account preparation, ensuring tax compliance and audit quality.
- Implement internal controls and oversee financial reporting, with a focus on risk management and business needs.
- Conduct operational follow-up on purchases, costs, and projects, providing insightful analyses and improvement proposals.
- Build relationship and insight of the business into our finance tools and processes.
- Develop BI tools, Power BI reporting, and support finance system upgrades.
- Support and maintain the finance model and assist with cash flow management.
- Engage in reconciliations, varied projects, and ad hoc tasks.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have
- A relevant financial background and plus 5 years of experience. You might come from a position as controller, auditor or have been a consultant within CFO services. However, passion for the company cause and the tasks ahead is valued more than the number of years of experience.
- Proficiency in working with Excel.
- Interest and/or experience with Business Central and Power BI.
- Qualifications in accounting, controlling and financial management
