As the Sourcing Manager, Indirect material, you will be a member of the Karo's Global Sourcing team, responsible for managing selected indirect sourcing categories including strategic sourcing projects for indirect spend. You will be accountable for developing category plans, driving category and sourcing strategies and execution of sourcing projects together with the Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and promote best practises and compliance within indirect procurement, raising stakeholder awareness and reducing maverick spending
- Develop and implement category plans ensuring alignment with key business stakeholders and driving savings
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing projects, including RFx processes, supplier selection and contract negotiations
- Analyze spend data and trends and develop commercial models to optimize category performance
- Collaborate with departments on supplier management, driving price reduction and supplier consolidation
- Provide training and regular communication on procurement policies, processes and systems
Requirements
- Master's degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, Law or a related field
- Proven experience in indirect procurement and sourcing projects
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to present insights professionally and translate strategic changes into actionable processes
- Excellent negotiation, communication, relationship-building and presentation skills with fluency in English
- A goal-oriented and structured approach, with experience collaborating across teams and functions to achieve business targets
- Interest in developing further within your role and leadership
