Dawn Health is a leading Digital Health product company building scalable digital solutions for Life Science partners globally. As a scale-up, we are continuing our transition towards a platform-first and SaaS-driven model.
We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Platform team in Copenhagen and play a key role in building and evolving the infrastructure, reliability, and automation that powers our products across teams and markets.
What will you be doing?
Software development at Dawn Health is at the core of everything we do - and strong SRE and platform engineering practices are essential to making it scalable, highly available, and efficient.
As a Site Reliability Engineer in the Platform team, you will work closely with engineers, architects, and product teams to build and operate the shared platform that enables multiple product teams to deliver faster, with higher quality and consistency.
You will contribute to our transition towards a scalable SaaS platform by building and improving:
- Observability, monitoring, and Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
- Incident response, blameless post-mortems, and system reliability
- CI/CD pipelines and release automation
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud environments
- Security and compliance foundations
Your focus will be on platform capabilities used across products, not individual project delivery.
You will:
- Lead observability, logging, and mature our incident response practices
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with a focus on reliable, automated delivery
- Improve developer experience (DevEx) by reducing friction in build, test, and deployment workflows
- Work with engineers to ensure systems are scalable, testable, and fault-tolerant
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure (Azure, AKS, multi-tenant setup)
Together, you will help ensure that:
- Platform capabilities are scalable and reusable
- Releases are predictable and automated
- Engineering teams can move fast with confidence without sacrificing uptime
Within your first months, you will gain a strong understanding of our platform, architecture, and operating model, enabling you to contribute effectively to platform evolution.
We are actively adopting AI-enabled ways of working, and we’re looking for someone who is curious and open to leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, quality, and developer experience.
Responsibilities
- Drive observability, establish reliability metrics, and mature incident response practices
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation across the platform
- Improve infrastructure and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code
- Support and evolve our cloud platform (Azure, AKS, multi-tenant setup)
- Improve developer experience (DevEx) across teams
- Contribute to observability, monitoring, and incident response practices
- Ensure platform solutions align with security and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to improve system reliability and scalability
- Identify improvement areas and work with teams to reduce bottlenecks
- Contribute to adoption of AI-enabled development practices
What success looks like in 6-9 months
- Platform reliability and visibility are measurably improved through robust observability practices
- CI/CD pipelines are more automated, reliable, and widely adopted
- Improved developer experience (DevEx) across teams
- Increased automation in testing, deployment, and operations
- Strong collaboration with engineering, architecture, and product teams
- Contributions to a scalable, multi-tenant cloud platform
- AI-enabled tools and workflows are actively used to improve productivity
- Key platform bottlenecks identified and improved
We offer
- The opportunity to build and scale a platform powering multiple digital health products globally
- A strong engineering culture focused on quality, scalability, and impact
- High autonomy and ownership in a growing scale-up
- Collaboration with experienced colleagues across tech, product, and compliance
- A supportive and inclusive work environment where people can grow and thrive
- Flexible ways of working and a sustainable work environment
- The opportunity to build solutions that have real impact on patients globally
About you
You are motivated by building reliable, scalable systems and enabling teams to do their best work.
You:
- Think in systems, automation, and scalability
- Enjoy working in complex environments and solving practical problems
- Are comfortable collaborating across teams and disciplines
- Take ownership of improving how things are built, tested, and deployed
- Balance pragmatism with a focus on long-term quality and uptime
We place strong emphasis on psychological safety and creating an environment where people feel supported, heard, and able to do their best work.
We know that strong candidates may not meet every requirement. If this role excites you, we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn’t match every point.
We’re looking for someone who brings some of the following
- Experience working as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or in cloud platform engineering
- Experience defining, measuring, and acting upon Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Error Budgets
- Practical experience with incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and facilitating blameless post-mortems
- A strong mindset for eliminating operational "toil" through automation and building self-healing systems
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline automation
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Bicep, Terraform, ARM)
- Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
- Understanding of containerization and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes/AKS)
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Professional proficiency in English
Bonus if you have
- Experience working with multi-tenant architectures
- Experience in regulated environments (e.g. healthcare, medtech, SaMD)
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g. LGTM stack - Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir)
- Experience defining and tracking SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets
- Experience with CI/CD platforms (e.g. Azure DevOps)
- Experience with GitOps practices and tools (e.g. ArgoCD)
- Experience with security and compliance in cloud environments
- Experience supporting test automation and quality engineering
