Senior Software Engineer

You’ll take on a senior role in an agile team, with the chance to influence both technical direction and the way the team works. Alongside hands-on development, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers and domain experts to create robust software solutions that support advanced synthesizer systems used in process development and large-scale GMP production.

What you’ll do
Designing, developing, testing and deploying high-quality software for lab instrumentation and manufacturing systems will keep your technical skills sharp while giving you direct influence over products that matter. You’ll work across the full software lifecycle, building scalable and maintainable systems with hardware interfacing and PLC integration.
You’ll also mentor other engineers and help strengthen a culture of accountability, excellence and knowledge sharing. As the team grows, you’ll contribute to improving agile ways of working and help create stronger alignment across engineering, product, service and customer support.
What you’ll need
- We are probably looking at around 510 hands-on software development experience given the seniority of this position. A strong background in Windows applications will also be needed.
- Strong experience in C#, WPF and .NET
- Experience with tools such as Visual Studio, Azure DevOps and Git
- Good understanding of databases and communication protocols such as COM and TCP/IP
- Ideally master’s degree in a softwarerelated field, but equivalent professional experience works fine as well.
- Fluency English.
It would be a bonus if you have
- Experience with PostgreSQL and PLC programming
- Previous experience in Life Sciences, especially software for laboratory equipment
- Understanding of regulatory requirements such as 21 CFR Part 11
