Your new position
As Student Assistant, Procurement, you will support our newly established Procurement department with data analytics, reporting, and administrative coordination. The role contributes to transparency on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as spend, contract coverage, and purchase order (PO) compliance. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and help communicate insights through clear, decision-ready material. The position is part-time (10–15 hours/week) and is planned to start as soon as possible.

- Gather, structure, and quality-check procurement data from relevant sources to support analyses and reporting
- Perform spend analyses and support insights generation to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute recurring KPI reporting (e.g., spend, contract coverage, PO compliance)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify needs, validate data, and follow up on actions
- Support document management and administrative coordination related to procurement activities
- Create and refine presentations to communicate findings, procurement initiatives, and recommendations
Your profile
You are structured, curious, and comfortable working with data in a commercial context. You have strong attention to detail and can manage multiple tasks in parallel. You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively in a stakeholder-facing environment.
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s program or in the 3rd year of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Management, or a related field
- Strong interest or experience in data gathering, analytics, and reporting, including handling complex datasets
- High-level proficiency in Excel (XLSX) and PowerPoint (PPTX)
- Strong commercial understanding, including familiarity with procurement principles, market analysis, and financial acumen
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience with Power BI is an advantage (not a requirement), and ability to work independently and collaboratively alongside part-time studies
Your new team
You will join Zealand Pharma’s Procurement department and support the ongoing development of procurement reporting, insights, and ways of working. The role interacts with internal stakeholders across the organization and contributes to strengthening procurement transparency and business partnering through data-driven support.
