The BioInnovation Institute (BII) is seeking a new student assistant passionate about high-quality communication and community building.
Founded in 2018, BII ‘Brings science to life’ by accelerating research and startups within human health, planetary health, and societal resilience for the benefit of people and society.
The job
The BII communications team covers various tasks related to external and internal communication, events, public affairs, digital communication, and community building.
You Will
- Assist the team in communication towards media outlets and stakeholders externally as well as startups and BII staff internally.
- Help create captivating slides and smaller graphics for internal and external presentations.
- Support the team in arranging high-level international events.
- Assist in community building activities to engage the startups in BII’s programs.
- Help create inspiring content for BII’s intranet, newsletter, and info screens.
- Assist in other relevant communications tasks
Your profile
We are looking for a team player who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with various stakeholders and projects. You are proficient in both spoken and written Danish and English, you like to write, and you have experience with the Microsoft Office package, especially Word and PowerPoint. We also expect you to be reliable, systematic in your approach and good at planning and organizing your work effectively with a clear target in sight.
The Team
You will be joining a highly professional and ambitious communications team. We are often tackling several assignments at once, and it is important that you can work independently in supporting the team. However, there will be plenty of room to learn new skills within the field of communication and event management and to grow with the position.
